Pinterest Ads that meet shoppers while they're still planning.
Hyxil manages Pinterest Ads for brands whose products get saved before they get bought — catalogs, pin creative, conversion tracking, and weekly testing. This is a paid-social service page, not a second homepage. We will tell you if Google or Meta is the better first dollar.
Pinterest advertising for visual catalogs — not every business
People open Pinterest to plan a kitchen, a wardrobe, a wedding table, a meal, or a gift list. They search with the same intent they bring to Google, then linger on images the way they do on Instagram — except the pin can keep circulating for months. Pinterest Ads put a shoppable version of that pin in front of people who are already collecting options.
Hire this channel when the product photographs well, the purchase is considered rather than emergency, and you can feed Pinterest a clean catalog or a tight set of lifestyle images. That is usually ecommerce and visual consumer brands. It is rarely a late-night plumber, a B2B SaaS demo, or a law firm that needs form fills this week.
Ecommerce with a real catalog
Shopify, BigCommerce, or a feed you already send to Google Merchant Center. Shopping and catalog ads need titles, prices, and images that stay in sync — not a one-off pin of a hero SKU.
Home, fashion, beauty, food, gifting
These verticals match how people actually use the app. We name them because the intent fits — not to manufacture a doorway page for every niche Hyxil has ever touched.
Small brands ready to test, not spray
A useful first media budget is enough to learn — often a few hundred dollars a week, not $20 a day across five ad groups. Management is a separate fee. Thin spend plus thin creative teaches you nothing.
Teams who already have something to land on
A product page that loads, a checkout that works, or a lead form that sales will answer. We will not launch Pinterest Ads against a homepage that cannot convert the click.
If your buyers search “near me” and call from the map pack, start with local SEO — that is where Hyxil’s published US proof lives. If they type a product or service into Google with buy-now intent, start with Google Ads. Pinterest is the planning layer in between.
Pinterest Ads vs Instagram vs Google — different jobs
This is not “which platform is best.” It is which job you are paying for. Hyxil already manages Google and Meta under the same PPC practice. We pick Pinterest when discovery and consideration are the bottleneck — not when you need last-click search volume or short-form social velocity.
Pinterest Ads
- Planning and product discovery
- Pins keep working after the first scroll
- Keyword + interest + catalog audiences
- Usually cheaper CPC/CPM than Meta in visual retail
- Slower learning; creative and feed quality decide it
Instagram / Meta
- Social browsing and retargeting at scale
- Creative dies faster; you need more assets
- Stronger CAPI and Advantage+ tooling
- Broader reach, more impulse, more auction heat
- See Facebook Ads
Google Ads
- Existing demand — they already typed the query
- Search and Shopping capture the buy moment
- Higher CPC on competitive terms, clearer intent
- Wrong first channel if nobody is searching you yet

Pinterest shopping ads, catalog, and the formats that still matter
Pinterest Ads Manager is built around an objective first — awareness, video completion, consideration, conversions, or catalog sales — then an ad format. We do not dump every format into one ad group and hope Performance+ sorts it out.
Standard and video pins
Single image or video promoting one offer, collection, or landing page. The work is the crop, the first line of text, and a destination that matches what the pin promised.
Shopping and catalog ads
Product feed in, shoppable pins out — price, availability, and image pulled from the catalog. This is the default for ecommerce once the feed is clean enough to trust.
Carousel and collections
Several products or angles in one unit. Useful when the buyer is comparing a set (a room, a kit, a range) rather than one SKU.
Idea ads
Full-screen, more native, still clickable. We use them when the story is the product — a recipe, a room reveal, a how-to — not a banner with a logo stamped on it.
Performance+ (when it has data)
Pinterest’s automated bidding and targeting layer. We turn it on after events are firing and the catalog is healthy. We do not hand it a broken feed and call that strategy.
Retargeting and lists
Site visitors, engagers, and customer lists — used to stay in the planning board, not to nag someone who already bought. Prospecting and remarketing stay in separate structures.
Pinterest Ads management as a sequence, not a login
Hyxil’s live PPC process is audit → platform fit → tracking → pages → build → weekly optimization. On Pinterest the same sequence is pin- and catalog-first. Social channels here usually need a longer creative test than Google Search before the numbers settle. That is the parent page’s own guidance, not a promise of week-one ROAS.
Fit check and account audit
We look at the catalog, the site, current Pins, and whether Pinterest is even the right first spend. If it is not, the written note says so. You still own the ad account.
Keyword, interest, and competitor research
Pinterest is a search engine with a visual index. We map the queries and boards your buyers already use — room styles, product types, occasions — then decide what deserves a pin versus a catalog cluster.
Creative and feed work
Vertical crops, lifestyle vs packshot tests, title and description hygiene on the catalog. A weak image on Pinterest is not “a branding issue.” It is wasted auction.
Conversion tracking before spend
Pinterest Tag (and Conversions API where the stack supports it), GA4, and the events that match the objective — view content, add to cart, checkout, or lead. No campaign goes live against an untracked thank-you page.
Build, launch, then test on a schedule
One job per campaign. Fresh pins against a control. Budget moved toward what earns saves, clicks, and the conversion you actually asked for. Weekly changes, written down — not a monthly PDF of vanity charts.
Creative, tracking, and the assets you keep
The parent PPC offer includes landing-page work and tracking in the management fee, a fixed monthly price rather than a percentage of spend, and month-to-month terms. You own the Pinterest business account and ads manager. If you leave, the history leaves with you.
Pin and video production in the plan
Enough variants to test, not a one-time “brand kit.” We write to the pin, not to a Meta brief pasted sideways.
Catalog and Merchant hygiene
Feed fields Pinterest actually uses: image, title, price, link, availability. Broken variants get excluded instead of burning budget.
Tag, CAPI, and GA4 in one view
Platform-reported conversions plus your analytics. When they disagree, we say so instead of picking the flattering number.
A page the pin can land on
Campaign-specific landing or collection pages when the existing URL will bounce the click. That is already how Hyxil prices PPC — not an upsell surprise.
What you need before we spend a dollar
A Pinterest business account you own. Product or lifestyle images that look like the thing you sell. A website or shop URL with a measurable conversion. Access for Ads Manager, the tag, and (for shopping) a product feed. A media budget that can survive a learning window. If any of that is missing, the first invoice is setup — not “launch Friday.”
Pinterest Ads cost — media ranges and Hyxil’s published fees
Two different numbers get mixed together. Media cost is what Pinterest charges for clicks and impressions. Management is what you pay an agency to structure, create, track, and change the account. Hyxil does not mark up spend or take a percentage of it. The figures below are public industry ranges plus the fees already published on the PPC services page — not invented Pinterest ROAS from this agency.
| Item | Honest range | How to read it |
|---|---|---|
| Typical CPC | About $0.10–$1.50 | Visual retail often sits lower than Meta; competitive categories climb. Compare cost per result, not the cheapest click. |
| Typical CPM | About $2–$10 | Sources disagree on the midpoint. Home, fashion, and food are usually cheaper than broad awareness in a crowded auction. |
| Useful test spend | Roughly $20–$50 / day, or a few hundred a week | Enough to finish learning on a tight structure. Splitting $300 across six ad groups teaches you nothing. |
| Hyxil management | $1,500 / mo starter · $2,500 growth · custom enterprise | From the live PPC page: one platform up to $10K spend, or two–three platforms up to $30K. Ad spend is extra and paid to Pinterest. |
$1,500/mo
One platform · up to $10K media
- Pinterest-only when that is the right start
- Tracking and a landing page in the fee
- Bi-weekly optimization
$2,500/mo
Two–three platforms · up to $30K media
- Pinterest plus Google or Meta
- Weekly sprints and more creative tests
- Monthly strategy call
Custom
$50K+ monthly media · multi-market
- Dedicated team and reporting
- CRM / offline conversion imports
- Quoted after the audit
We have not published a Pinterest-specific case study with spend or ROAS. Do not treat the Ohio geo-grid or Arkaa organic numbers as Pinterest results. Those campaigns are on the case study hub because they are the work we are allowed to show — local SEO, organic, and site builds. Paid social is a live Hyxil service; the Pinterest proof will go here when a client signs off on it.
No published Pinterest ROAS on this site. View the work we can show, then ask for a Pinterest fit check.
