Case Study 01 — Web Development

WordPress Website Built for Speed, Trust, and Search

Ezy Movers needed a professional online presence to compete in Dubai’s crowded moving industry. We built a bilingual, high-performance WordPress site from scratch, engineered for speed, trust, and search visibility from day one.

The Challenge

Ezy Movers operates in one of the UAE’s most competitive local markets. Without a website, they had no way to capture organic search traffic from expats and businesses searching for movers in Dubai, Ajman, Sharjah, and Ras Al Khaimah. They also needed to serve Arabic-speaking customers, who represent a large share of the UAE market. Every day without a site was revenue going to competitors.

Our Process
1

Discovery and Site Architecture

We mapped the full service offering, target locations across the UAE, and customer personas. The site structure was designed to give Google clear, crawlable paths for each service and city combination, covering Dubai, Ajman, Sharjah, Abu Dhabi, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah, and Al Ain.

2

Pre-build Technical Audit with Screaming Frog

Before writing a single line of code, we ran a Screaming Frog crawl of competing UAE mover sites to study their architecture, internal linking, and keyword patterns. This shaped our own structure before anything was built rather than patching it afterward.

3

WordPress Development, Performance-First

We built on WordPress with a performance-first approach. Image compression, lazy loading, a minimal plugin footprint, and server-level caching were built in from day one. The result was a clean codebase that Google’s crawlers and real users can both process efficiently.

4

Bilingual Build with hreflang

We built a full Arabic version alongside the English site and implemented proper hreflang tags on every page. This tells Google which version to serve to which audience, effectively doubling the site’s search footprint across both English and Arabic queries in the UAE.

5

Content and On-page SEO

All copy was written with target keywords embedded naturally. Service pages covered international movers, home movers, office movers, villa movers, and storage. Separate location landing pages were built for each of the seven UAE emirates, each with unique content rather than templated duplicates.

6

Speed Validation with PageSpeed Insights

We tested throughout development rather than once at the end. The final site hit 95 on desktop performance and 82 on mobile, with a perfect 100 on both SEO and Best Practices scores. Strong benchmarks for a UAE moving industry site going up against players with years of domain history.

The Challenge

The UAE moving industry has well-established competitors with years of domain authority, strong backlink profiles, and significant content libraries. Ranking a brand-new domain required a structured approach: the right keyword targets, a clean technical foundation, and location-specific content in gaps that competitors had overlooked.

Keyword Research with Ahrefs

We used Ahrefs to map the full keyword landscape for UAE moving services across three layers: high-intent service keywords (movers and packers Dubai), location-specific variations for all seven emirates, and Arabic-language equivalents that most English-first competitors leave completely uncontested.

We prioritised terms where search intent was clearly transactional and where the competition was winnable for a new domain, particularly in Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah, and Al Ain, where established players had noticeably thinner content coverage.

Competitor Analysis

We crawled the top 5 ranking UAE moving sites in Screaming Frog to understand their page structure, internal linking patterns, and keyword coverage gaps. Two findings shaped our entire content strategy.

First, most competitors had strong Dubai content but very thin pages for Ajman, RAK, and Al Ain. Second, Arabic-language keywords were almost entirely uncontested by the English-first sites that dominate the Dubai market. We built into both gaps deliberately.

Technical SEO Implementation
1

Screaming Frog Crawl and Fix List

A full crawl was run during development to catch missing title tags, redirect chains, duplicate meta descriptions, and missing alt attributes. The site launched technically clean rather than being fixed after the fact.

2

On-page Optimisation

Every service and location page received a unique title tag, meta description, H1, and body content with natural keyword density. Internal links were structured to pass authority from the homepage down to location-specific pages.

3

hreflang for Bilingual SEO

The Arabic version received correct hreflang tags (en-ae and ar) on every page. This allows Google to serve the right version to the right audience, effectively doubling the site’s search footprint. The top performing keyword in GSC is already an Arabic-language term.

4

XML Sitemap and Search Console Setup

Sitemaps were submitted to Google Search Console for both language versions. Indexing was monitored from day one and any crawl errors were resolved within the first week of launch.

For a domain under 40 days old, accumulating impressions across multiple UAE emirates and across both English and Arabic queries is a strong early signal. Rankings typically consolidate at the 3 to 6 month mark as domain authority builds. The technical foundations are in place to compete with established players.

Case Study 03 — Local SEO

Google Business Profile Setup and Local Search Optimisation

For a moving company in Dubai, appearing in the Google Maps pack when someone searches “movers near me” drives more calls than almost any other channel. We set up and optimised Ezy Movers’ Google Business Profile to capture that local intent from day one.

The Challenge

In Dubai’s moving industry, the Google Maps local pack drives a significant share of inbound calls and quote requests. Without a verified, optimised Google Business Profile, Ezy Movers was completely invisible for “near me” searches and local intent queries, regardless of how strong the website was. Local SEO and organic SEO are separate signals and both are required to compete.

What We Did
1

Google Business Profile Setup and Verification

We created and verified the GBP with the correct business name, address, and phone number. Getting this data exactly right matters because any mismatch between the GBP and the website creates NAP inconsistency, which directly hurts local rankings.

2

Category and Service Optimisation

We selected “Moving Company” as the primary category and added all relevant secondary categories. Every individual service was listed in the GBP services section, including home movers, office movers, villa movers, international movers, and storage, so the profile surfaces for specific service searches, not just broad brand queries.

3

Keyword-Rich Business Description

We wrote a business description covering core services, the full UAE service area, and trust signals such as DET-licensed status. The description reads naturally while covering the specific terms Google uses to match GBP profiles to local search queries.

4

Photo Upload

We uploaded professional photos covering the team, vehicles, packing process, and completed moves. GBP profiles with photo libraries consistently outperform those without, and Google uses engagement signals including photo views as a factor in local pack rankings.

5

Service Area Configuration

Since Ezy Movers operates across all UAE emirates, we configured the service area to cover Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, Abu Dhabi, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah, and Al Ain. This expands visibility for searches across the country, not just from the registered city.

6

Website and Phone Integration

The GBP was linked directly to ezymovers.ae with correct click-to-call integration. This creates a consistent NAP signal between the profile and the website, and makes it simple for potential customers to contact the business directly from the Maps listing.

“Near me” impressions in GSC

Local SEO is a 3 to 6 month process for new GBP profiles. The groundwork set here — verified profile, full services, keyword-rich description, seven-emirate service area, and photo library — gives Google the signals it needs to start surfacing Ezy Movers in the local pack. The GSC data already shows “movers and packers near me” generating impressions, a strong early indicator that the GBP and website are being associated with local intent queries.

Next Steps for Continued Growth
→

Review Generation

After each completed move, prompt customers to leave a Google review. Even 10 to 15 positive reviews in the first 60 days will significantly accelerate local pack visibility and click-through rates.

→

Weekly GBP Posts

Publishing updates, offers, and service highlights weekly keeps the profile active and signals to Google that the business is engaged, which supports local ranking signals.

→

UAE Citation Building

Listing Ezy Movers in UAE business directories with consistent NAP data strengthens the local authority signals the GBP needs to rank competitively for high-volume Dubai searches.
